Privacy Policy

Lubdi helps you rewrite messages before you send them. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we do not store your drafts or your chats.

1. Your messages and drafts

• When you ask for suggestions, the text you are writing is sent to our server, processed to produce better versions, and then discarded. We do not keep it.
• We keep only non-content counts about each request, such as its length in words, how long it took and whether it succeeded, plus a one-way fingerprint that cannot be turned back into text.
• To produce suggestions we use AI model providers (currently Groq and Google Gemini). Your text is sent to them only to generate the answer.

2. Reading the conversation (optional)

If you turn on "Read the conversation", the last few messages visible on screen are sent with your draft so suggestions fit the chat. This includes the other person's messages, so turn it on only if you are comfortable with that. It is off by default, text only (no names, numbers, photos or timestamps), read only when suggestions are requested, and never stored.

3. Android accessibility service

On Android, Lubdi uses an accessibility service so it can see the text box you are typing in and put a chosen suggestion into it. It is used only for that. Lubdi switches itself off in banking, wallet, payment, crypto, password manager and authenticator apps, and never reads password, card or one-time-code fields in any app.

4. Your account

• If you create an account we store your name, email address, a hashed password (handled by our authentication provider, Supabase), your invite code and who invited you.
• We store daily usage counts and bonus rewrites so your limits work.
• Guests are identified by a random device id created by the app, used only to count daily rewrites.

5. Saved rewrites

Rewrites you star are saved on your phone only. They are not uploaded to us.

6. Email

We email you only for account purposes: your sign-up code and password reset codes.

7. What we never do

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not use your messages for advertising.
• Lubdi never sends a message on your behalf.

8. Deleting your data

You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings, Account, Delete account. This removes your account, invite code and bonus rewrites. You can clear saved rewrites on your phone from the Saved tab.

9. Age

Lubdi is intended for people aged 18 and over.
